Shopping Centre Company Espana Awards Park Assist Their First M4 Smart Sensor Installation in Spain
NEW YORK, NY – March 27, 2017 – Park Assist has been awarded their first project with Shopping Centre Company Espana (SCCE) at Plaza Rio in the city centre of Madrid. Plaza Rio will have 180 high-end, premium shops as well as recreational facilities and 1,500 parking spaces. SCCE is a prominent shopping center developer in Europe with nine shopping centers in Spain, four in Italy and fourteen in France and Belgium.
The streamlined layout of a Park Assist guidance system installation is as functional, as it is aesthetically pleasing. The M4 smart-sensors with dual cameras will be located above the driving lane to monitor a pair of spaces on each side. This unique vantage point provides the cameras with an unobstructed view of the parked vehicles – while providing parkers with clear sight lines for easy guidance and navigation.
Our Park Finder tool will be deployed to assist visitors in finding and returning to their vehicles. Park Alerts and an API integration with SCCE’s smartphone app, as well as with the shopping mall directories will also be implemented. The project will begin in June and is scheduled to be completed in August before the mall opening in October 2017.
“We are excited about working with SCCE on this project because of their emphasis on innovative solutions to elevate the shopping center customer’s experience in their facilities. Our M4 system will enable customers to find parking quickly and easily without stress or congestion,” said Gary Neff, CEO of Park Assist.
