Doug Rubinstein returns to Park Assist as CMO
Park Assist is pleased to welcome back Doug Rubinstein as the CMO. Originally hired by Gary Neff when he first joined the company, Doug drove the creation of the Park Assist brand, elevating it to be recognized as one of the parking industry’s preeminent brands. During his time as CMO at Park Assist, Doug guided the evolution of the brand and marketing strategy before hiring Alex Gizhitsa to further develop the company’s engagement strategies. Doug remained a vital part of Park Assist as an advisor to the senior management team throughout this time.
In addition to Doug’s involvement in Park Assist, he is also CEO and Managing Partner of Douglas & Associates™, LLC, a management consulting firm, and Innoverse Labs™ a cloud-based software and mobile app firm focused on the hospitality industry. His extensive experience also includes serving as Managing Partner of The Douglas Group™, Inc., a nationally recognized marketing firm specializing in marketing communications, branding and positioning development for health care systems, universities, financial services, hospitality, retail, manufacturing and technology entities.
Along with his professional accomplishments, Doug is involved in numerous non-profit organizations, serving as President of Animal Rescue Rhode Island, Executive Advisory Board of the Harrington School of Communication and Media at the University of Rhode Island, Vice President of the Board of Directors for Prevent Blindness America, The University of Hartford Advisory Board, The University of Connecticut Business Advisory Council and Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation. He was also Head Football Coach at his Alma Mater, SUNY Oswego, guiding the team to a National Championship in 1973. He currently resides in Charlestown, RI with his wife Linda, and together they have one daughter.
