Aileen Carolan Joins Park Assist as Software Product Manager

Aileen Carolan has joined Park Assist as the Software Product Manager based in the New York office. Aileen will drive technology enhancements and elevate the customer experience by identifying, filling, and exploring product gaps while developing solutions that drive customer satisfaction. With nearly 15 years of professional experience, she brings a diverse and unique skill set necessary to continue positioning Park Assist as an industry leader in the parking sector.

Working across departments, Aileen will develop various materials focused on product strategy, including detailed requirements and prototypes, user stories, mock-ups, and product launches. As an overall subject matter expert, she will represent Park Assist while acting as a liaison with clients to garner feedback on the company’s products and services.

Prior to Park Assist, Aileen began her professional career at USA Today as a Sales Assistant focused on printed media, however she quickly moved over to digital sales advertising for USAToday.com/Gannet Digital where she was responsible for managing key clients and agencies from the RFP process to ad campaign completion. After 5 years with USA Today, she joined XAXIS as a member of the Media Planning team, developing strategic marketing plans.

Aileen’s career-focus shifted to product management when she began working with Experian in 2011. Drawing on her expertise in the digital arena, Aileen helped construct and develop a new data product based on measurements of mobile/PC usage behaviors. After a successful product launch, she transitioned to advance Experian’s SaaS platform from product concepts to well-defined deliverables/analytical reporting with a strong client value proposition.

Outside of her professional life, Aileen enjoys living at the Jersey Shore with her husband and two daughters (ages 3 and 4). In the summertime she can be found running on the boardwalk or biking on the trails with her family. One of her favorite hobbies is scrapbooking and she hopes to do more of it in her free time.
